Saturday, May 6th, Bean’s Diesel Performance is putting on a “Cruisin and Riding for Readyville” fundraiser to benefit citizens and businesses affected by the horrific damage caused by recent tornadoes. The town was described as “decimated” by Debra Alexandra Fisher of the American Red Cross in a recent WKRN article: https://www.wkrn.com/news/local-news/that-whole-town-is-decimated-readyville-in-need-of-volunteers-donations-after-storms/
As a member of the Middle Tennessee community, Bean’s Diesel Performance felt called to gather with other local businesses to put on a benefit event. On Saturday, May 6th, there will be a Car Show and Motorcycle Ride to raise money for those in need. The car show will begin at 9 am on the square in Woodbury that Saturday and feature a selection of classic cars. The benefit motorcycle ride will begin at noon at Bean’s Diesel and end at Short Mountain Distillery.
Everyone is invited to attend, and we hope that, in some small way, the proceeds from this benefit can help ease the hardship caused by this catastrophic event.
Community members can make donations to benefit the people and businesses of Readyville at any Capstar Bank location or by phone at 615-563-8011.
We want to thank this event’s title sponsors. We are grateful for the generosity they have shown for their community. Sponsors for the “Cruisin’ and Ridin’ for Readyville” event include the American Red Cross, Dr. Automotive , O’Reilly Auto Parts , and Diesel Life.
We hope to see you at the event!
